I make a lot of soups and my family's favorites are those that are Asian-inspired. It is very expensive and labor-intensive to make a good Asian-style stock from scratch. These packets of broth are real time savers plus the taste is excellent. It may not be quite as good as those I spend hours brewing but they are out of sight of the powder packets. The taste is rich and meaty. I'm a believer.

This is the tastiest broth starter I have had in a long while. This company also makes a powdered miso that is surprisingly good. If you mix them, the salt blends a bit better, and your ramen comes out amazingly as long as you don't add any more salt (you can get low sodium soup condiments here).
Recommend for busy nights. This is not apocalypse soup base. You can eat and enjoy this without it being the only food you'll have for days.

These are awesome!!! This miso soup tastes just like the one you would get from a fancy Japanese restaurant! Also, it’s so convenient to make. You just need hot water added to this powder and that’s it. Your soup is ready!
